Last Day of Homecoming week!!

Today is the end to a crazy week in the high school Homecoming week.. all week the kids have been making costumes.. and wearing them per the days theme..

Today is Spirit day... and lastnight I sat up making a red, blue and black tutu for my daughter A. mind you I had a photoshot earlier, a dr's appt for a physical at 4pm (fasting from midnight the night before) and No coffee for most of the day...  and then at 1 this morning.. it was finished.. (the tutu)  and crossing my fingers. I went to get some much needed rest.

The morning here went as usual.. Miss A running like a chicken with her head cut off trying to gather all her things.. eyeliner, books, purse.. etc.. all while trying to get out the door in time for school.. and Mr J.. such the opposite.. non motivated.. and today.. A bit whiney. Grrr. Miss P.. Home with a stomach something..  I am thinking nerves.. stress.. etc. but told her this was her only freebie.
& my list of things to do never seem to add up to the hours in a day..

Todays agenda..
Coffee.. Post production from senior photos taken yesterday, pull something out for dinner, a photoshoot for a 4 month at 4pm., my new washer delivered between 1-5pm, I have to find time to organize my desk, walk the dogs, clean the house, set up the lighting and backdrops, and run my phsical paper down to the fire Dept..

Whew.. Just thinking about all that makes me exhausted already, and its only 8:50 am ..

Off to take on the day...

Mss A Homecoming week!!!!

Its Homecoming week here at our house Miss A Has a date and their Homecoming tickets already, Lastnight Miss A had me spend the evening helping her get ready for Greek day.. So I took a white sheet and proceeded to wrap her.. added some cute leaves.. and even made her a wreath head piece out of the Pear tree.. taking about an hour and a half o do all this.. Miss A gets up this morning.. and says.. Nope not wearing it.. <<< Sigh>>> all that work for nothing. But I did manage to get a picture lastnight.. :)

Senior Photoshoot today should be a good time I am hoping with the only exception that I am fasting since Midnight for a 3pm Dr appt (Physical) Not too sure how I am going to be all day with no coffee. but well we shall see. Keep your fingers crossed.!!

Cuties For a cause Kickoff!

Today we embarked on a long hard journey.. of trying to raise $50,000 for Autism Society of Nebraska.. and with day one in the books.. I think that we did ok. We got to photograph 4 kids.. and even sold a few raffle tickets.! Not too bad for a few hours work. and we now have 36 Days until we reveal who will make out top 13 Kids for he calendar! Excited yes.. Here are a few pics from today with my Crew.

This morning as most mornings go was hectic.. trying to get all 3 kids out the door before they miss their bus.. and Mr J seems to think its ok to take an Ipod Touch to MIDDLE School.. Oh heck no.. Like he would ever focus after doing something like that.  He proceeded to pull the "But daadddd Said I could "whine.. and I abruptly stopped him telling him that if he did take it to school today and I found out about it.. (which I would) that he would lose it for another month.. mind you this is a child that lost it since December...and just got it back after downloading $800.00 worth of apps. and working his little tail off all summer to repay the debt. in the end..  I am proud to say.. I have it here at home.. plugged in.. and yes Mom won this battle. :)
